When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and a password if you do not sign in with another provider. When you join a club or buy a ticket we record the purchase, and when a club asks for student verification we store the answers you give it. We also keep the content you post, the messages you send in chat, your notification preferences and, for cards you save, only the card brand, last four digits and expiry.
Every sign-in is logged with its time, outcome, IP address, approximate location and browser, and actions taken on the platform are recorded in an activity trail with the same details. We use this to keep accounts safe, to investigate problems and to detect abuse. The map and nearby features use your location only while you allow it.
We use your information to run the service: to show you the clubs you belong to, deliver the memberships and tickets you buy, send the announcements and reminders you have asked for, and let club executives see who their members are. We also use it to keep the platform secure and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
The executives of a club you join can see your name, email and the verification answers you gave that club. Other members can see your name and avatar in the member directory and in chat. Platform staff can see account details and sign-in history when providing support or investigating abuse. We do not sell your information.
We rely on providers to host the platform, store images, send email and push notifications, and provide maps. If a club connects a social account or Discord server, the announcements it chooses to cross-post are sent to that network under the network's own terms. Each provider only receives what it needs to do its job.
Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and for as long as we need them for tax and dispute purposes afterwards. Sign-in history and the activity trail are kept for 24 months. Emailed links and codes expire within an hour and are deleted soon after.
You can update your details, change your notification preferences, unsubscribe from club emails and sign out of every device from your settings. You can ask us for a copy of your information or ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected].
Passwords are hashed before they leave your browser and again on our servers. Card numbers never reach us. Access to personal information is limited to the people and systems that need it, and every access by platform staff is recorded.
