Club Seeker is a platform for discovering, joining and running university clubs and societies. These terms apply to everyone who browses the platform, creates an account, buys a membership or ticket, or manages a club through it. By using Club Seeker you agree to them, so please read them before you continue.
You need an account to join clubs, buy tickets, take part in chat or run a club. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you do. You must be at least 16 years old, and the details you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
A club on Club Seeker is created and administered by its own presidents and executives, not by us. They decide who may join, what a membership costs, what events run and how the club is described. We provide the tools; the club is responsible for how it uses them, for the accuracy of what it publishes and for honouring the memberships and tickets it sells.
Prices are shown in the club's currency and include any platform fee the club has chosen to pass on. A membership or ticket is issued to the account that bought it and is not transferable unless the club says otherwise. Refunds are a matter between you and the club, except where the law gives you a right we must honour. While the platform runs in test mode no card is charged and every payment page says so.
Use the platform lawfully and respectfully. Do not post content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive or infringes someone else's rights, do not impersonate anyone, do not attempt to gain access you have not been given, and do not use automated tools to scrape or overload the service. Club executives may remove members who break a club's own rules; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it you give us and the club it was posted to a licence to display and distribute it on the platform, in emails and notifications, and on any social accounts the club has connected for cross-posting. You must have the rights to anything you upload, including images.
We work hard to keep Club Seeker available and accurate, but we provide it as is and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features, and we may remove content or clubs that breach these terms. Where the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid through the platform in the twelve months before the claim.
You can close your account at any time from your settings. We may close or suspend an account for a breach of these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Closing an account does not cancel memberships or tickets a club has already issued; contact the club about those.
We may update these terms from time to time. When a change matters we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after the change means you accept the updated terms.
